ACT has chosen an excellent deputy leader in Nicole McKee. I’m sure her message will resonate with many Kiwis who just want a ‘fair go’.

I have great respect for Nicole McKee. A real straight shooter . No pun intended.

Shouldn't that read ' Weaponisation ." ? We are not the 51st State , Yet !

The Americanisation of the English language has become entrenched here. No offence to the Yanks. I have many relatives and good friends throughout the USA.

Many English as second langauge people have had Americans teaching English for a long time. A very strong influence.

Yes, Nicole McKee is an excellent politician.

But she is foolish to say she is proud of her ancestry. This is simply an accident of birth, not any sort of achievement. So ancestry should be neither a source of pride nor of shame. It is way past time that all schoolchildren have had this drummed into them.
