Bob Brockie MNZM is a New Zealand cartoonist, scientist, columnist and graphic artist. He was an editorial cartoonist for the National Business Review from 1975 to 2018, specialising in political satire.

Interesting to note in articles where Aotearoa is used, the name used to describe those from Aotearoa in the article is New Zealanders!! I suppose Aotearoaians is as stupid as it sounds. Who wants to be an Aotearoaian?

That's Kia Kaha though. Unless the cartoonist was unaware of that.

Te Kaha, other than a (very scenic) small East Cape town, seems to mean 'the boundary' or maybe 'stay in your lane'.

The cartoon is very apt. Western style Democracy will die in NZ buried by an anti democratic Labour mob. They are egged on by their powerful Maori caucus, itself in thrall to corporate Maori tribal elites supposedly acting in the interests of a measly 16% of NZ’s population. Jacinda is “Lenin with hair“ said a US politician six months ago. I agree.
