AI is crap .... but as with all crap it will be taken up by the ever present traders in like type shit.
There will be the gullible weak, along with the independently strong; as an audience thereto.
What you can guarantee is, grubment will use it to control those that are not prepared to think for themselves..... gullible or not.

I’m 80 now, and the memory is getting a bit patchy — like a lawn that’s been visited too many times by neighbourhood dogs. So I’ve started using Microsoft Copilot to help me keep life running in a straight line. It’s been a lifesaver. I’ve asked it everything from “Why is my shower mixer acting like a grumpy teenager?” to “Which Ryobi tool won’t chew through my wallet?” to “Why is this pool cloudy enough to hide a small submarine?” It even helped me set up Kindle on my Windows 11 laptop after I bought a book and promptly forgot where it went. Copilot never rolls its eyes, never sighs, and never says “Bruce, we’ve been over this.” It just…
What concerns me is the abdicating of using your own brain and leaving all secisions up to AI. Well and good that you can formulate a question, but leaving AI to do the work must surely lead to a dumbing down of the general population and an increase in dementia...
What is becoming more evident is that Artificial Intelligence consumes so much energy and narural resources that it is more expensive and less efficient than employing HUMAN INTELLIGENCE.
Most of the very influential people in this industry admit that the effects on members of our species are will probably be more detrimental than beneficial but they are in a competition to win regardless if the eventual consequences.
Our brains have evolved and developed the ability to learn and process information much more efficiently than the technologies that are being developed to copy and replace them. They do not need massive "data centres" of computing capability that require the exploitation of finite natural resources to build, power, maintain, repair and cool them.
