Jack Tame interviews Opportunity leader Qiulae Wong on Q & A
At the Blue Review Liam Hehir's verdict:
"This type of scrutiny is not something that the Opportunity Party has been subjected to for a long time. Gareth Morgan got his share of difficult interviews, which was understandable because of his already high profile and reputation for strongly and bluntly expressed opinions. Under subsequent leadership, TOP has both suffered and benefited from its lower profile, where it has been treated more as an occasional curiosity than a serious contender.
That’s no longer the case and today leader Qiulae Wong found herself under the blowtorch from the aforementioned Jack Tame on Q+A. While Wong kept her composure the whole time, it would be fair to say that she would not look back on the interview as any kind of triumph. The biggest takeaway for most viewers would be that, on several fairly obvious but persistently asked questions by Tame, she simply could not give specific, or even convincingly vague, answers..."

Be sure to read all their policies not just vote for them because you are disillusioned with the others. Pity the fact they have a member who co-wrote He PuaPua that sounds alarm bells definitely left leaning. Dont be taken in by a welcome grin..............
We need more media scrutiny of TOP policy in the lead up to the election.
TOP claim to be Centrist. They are anything but, they are hard left, a Socialist party with more in common with the Greens and TMP then they have with Labour.
A recent poll indicated around 23% of support for TOP came from former National voters. These voters need to understand what TOP really stands for. I'm happy to see TOP as part of a Left wing coalition. But it would be fraudulent for TOP to take votes from the right - unless those voters truly understand their policy.
Unfortunately, we have almost 3 generations of younger people who have accepted the delusion that the people called the government can protect and provide for them like ideal parents should.
Much of the disappointment with Mr. Luxon is because he is not the strong, brave, decisive FATHER FIGURE so many people desire.
More fortunately for us, he is not a malignant narcissistic bully like Trump either.
There is no such Patriarchal figure that dependent peop[e can rely on in our current political game and environment of exponential change and confusion.
That absence of a strong, capable male provider and protector creates a vacuum that needs to be filled by a maternal archetype that is being offered by TOP and the…
Can someone please tell me if the Iwi will be paying the "land tax" on the land that they own/control?
Consider if TOP strategically corral's the land owners for $, all they are really doing is getting it set up in a tidy compliant package ready for Maori to claim their land taxes off everyone, as they will declare your land is their land, and you pay them levies and taxes to have the right to use it - same applies to the water that comes out of your tap.
If you can’t see this coming you’re in woke lala land.
BEWARE OF THIS BUNCH OF NEWBIES AS ITS A SETUP!
