RODNEY HIDE: The “Single Source of Truth” Collapses

Remember when questioning the origin of SARS-CoV-2 got you banned,
branded a public-health threat, and cast out of polite society?
For years New Zealanders were told to accept the “Single Source of
Truth.” Suggesting a laboratory origin in Wuhan was dismissed as a
racist conspiracy theory. The official story was simple and sacred: a
bat met a pangolin at a wet market. Anyone who asked about
high-containment labs researching bat corona-viruses a short distance
away was peddling dangerous disinformation.
That narrative has now been destroyed by hard legal facts.
On 18 August 2026, Dr David Morens — long-time senior adviser to
Anthony Fauci at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious
Diseases — pleaded guilty in U.S. federal court to conspiracy to
defraud the United States. The charge centres on a deliberate scheme
to conceal federal records about COVID-19 origins and related research
grants.
Court documents show that after the NIH terminated EcoHealth
Alliance’s bat-coronavirus grant (the grant that included work with
the Wuhan Institute of Virology), Morens and others agreed to move
sensitive discussions onto his personal Gmail account. The explicit
goal was to keep the communications beyond the reach of Freedom of
Information Act requests. Emails released earlier had already captured
Morens discussing how to “make emails disappear” after FOIA requests
arrived. He also admitted receiving illegal gratuities (including
wine) in connection with efforts to help restore the grant and push
back against the lab-leak hypothesis.
While ordinary citizens faced lockdowns, business closures and job
losses over mandates, senior officials were actively shielding the
paper trail linking U.S. funding to high-risk coronavirus research in
Wuhan.
The claim that “the science simply evolved” no longer holds on the
origins of covid. What changed was not the evidence alone; it was the
ability of powerful people to keep certain evidence out of public
view. Scientists and journalists who pointed early to the genomic
features of the virus, the location of the outbreak, and the research
underway at the Wuhan lab were not cranks. They were performing basic
pattern recognition. They were silenced or smeared for it.
In New Zealand the mainstream press amplified the overseas consensus
rather than scrutinising it. Sceptics were framed as threats to public
health. Legitimate questions about transparency were treated as
heresy.
The real damage is institutional. When public-health authorities and
their media allies treat open scientific debate as a security risk,
public trust collapses. Once people conclude that the official story
was curated rather than discovered, restoring confidence becomes
extremely difficult.
Those who were vilified for asking the obvious questions do not need a
quiet correction from the major newsrooms. The admissions are now on
the public record in a U.S. federal courthouse. The people labelled
conspiracy theorists turned out to be the ones demanding the
transparency the system refused to provide.

The authority over reach during this orchestrated scamdemic, is a serius reminder that it could happen again.
It it the idea that the people that dished out that authority, appear to be teflon coated. They should and MUST be held to account for the irrepairable damage they have caused, financially and healthwise.
It is scandalous, that in this country, Ardern and co have slipped through the system, unscathed and been financially rewarded for the devastation.
I applaud the likes of Rand Paul, in the States, for his will and devotion to seeking the truth and bringing the lies, liars and the evilness of the pariahs, into the sunlight, so that people can see some justice delivered......🙏

The efficacy of masks was also another aspect of authoritarian "Scientistism" together with the mrna gene therapy injection which was spun as a vaccine. It has become a hot topic in the US, through Naomi Wolf's work, in relation to myocarditis and substantial number miscarriages, which was a known side effect.
The fearless Rodney Hide is right on the knocker yet again and the principal participants on the podium of truth received knighthoods for their deceit, backed up by bought and paid for academics for hire, deprived of any vestige of critical thinking ability.
Thats the sort of warped system that we allow to control our destinies, and the main protagonists are all tarrred with the same brush. It is my understanding too, that successive governments have refused to release details of the contracts that the government held with the big pharma companies that supplied NZ with the vaccines that have inflicted harm on many.
Covid was a difficult experience for all of us. Misinformation muddied the waters and everyone - the experts, the media. politicians and the people- were genuinely confused. The roles of Fauci and some Pharmaceutical agencies were clearly fraudulent. Now that the dust has largely settled in NZ, we are left in a difficult position. Many people distrust medical advice and refuse to have any vaccinations. This is a potentially dangerous situation as vaccines have arguably saved more lives than any other health modality.
if one person is to blame for the covid debacle, that person is Fauci... the world politicians (excepting Sweden) were just useful idiots in his deception...
