When I lodged my crime report on Police’s online portal in January 2021, I reasonably expected its very simple Euro/Interpol (who don’t normally deal directly with the Public – only Countries’ Police) referral would be properly completed by Police within 3 months. I had no inkling 5 years later would be no closer to such a referral; while a ‘swamp’ of Police National Headquarters (PNHQ) personnel’s corruption and serious misconduct & neglect of duty has been exposed.

Government side of this experience is shameful too:

• On 5 October 2023, Christopher Luxon’s office bought issue to Police Minister Mark Mitchell’s attention. Zero action/response from Mitchell.

• On 17 January 2024 & 23 April 2025, requested IPCA open an Investigation into PNHQ’s woeful mishandling of my case. Zero response.

• On 26 February 2024, received “Your comments have been forwarded onto Prime Minister for his consideration” email from his Office. To date, no evidence Luxon/Office even brought my letter to Police Commissioners’ attention! 

  So-called “law & order” party have ZERO interest in addressing totally unacceptable PNHQ performance!
